Apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician(m/f/d)

Mechatronics technicians build and test mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems for equipment. They assemble components and individual parts into complex systems and machines. Mechatronics technicians work in the assembly and maintenance of complex machines, installations, and systems, as well as for customers and operators of these mechatronic systems.

Working with control and automation technology is also a key part of the job. They program mechatronic systems and check, for example, electrical parameters and signals within these systems.

The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years.

• A good intermediate school certificate (Realschule) or Abitur (higher education entrance qualification)
• Spatial awareness
• Good knowledge of mathematics
• Ability to think in terms of systems and connections
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Independence, strong performance, and sense of responsibility
• Interest in working with technical and electronic devices

• Recognized training occupation under the German Vocational Training Act (BBiG)
• Nationwide standardized apprenticeship offered in industry and skilled trades
• Dual training system (company-based training and vocational school)
