Apprenticeship as an IT Specialist(m/f/d)

IT specialists ensure the smooth operation of information and communication technology (ICT) systems. They implement specific IT and communication solutions as service providers, either within the company or for external clients. They act as administrators and troubleshooters for IT applications and systems.

By integrating hardware and software components, IT specialists plan and configure IT systems. With the help of expert and diagnostic systems, they identify and resolve faults. They also advise and train users of IT applications..

The apprenticeship lasts 3.5 years.

• A good intermediate school certificate (Realschule) or Abitur (higher education entrance qualification)
• Interest in working with computers and IT systems
• Technical understanding
• Good knowledge of mathematics
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to think logically and understand systems
• Independence, motivation, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Interest in working with technical devices

• Recognized training occupation under the German Vocational Training Act (BBiG)
• Nationwide standardized apprenticeship offered in industry and skilled trades
• Dual training system (company-based training and vocational school)
